YOUR TASK
- Interface with customer, sales, R&D, systems engineering, and service
- Technical sales support with customer visits and conferences
- Provide marketing material, product information, and training for sales
- Technical contact to assess customer requirements
- Define custom solutions together with engineering, R&D, and software teams
- Understand and assess market and technological requirements
- Manage the product line by driving the product lifecycle from initial idea to production and service
- Continuously improve products and processes with the production team
- Collaborate with PMs across other segments for a seamless offering

YOUR PROFILE
- Advanced chemistry or physics degree
- Fundamental knowledge in surface reactions, catalysis, batter y chemistry corrosion or similar
- Experience in instrument development and photoelectron spectroscopy, ideally with background in ambient pressure XPS
- Experience from synchrotron based research
- Business fluent in written and spoken English (additional language skills, e.g. German, are a plus)
- Strong and enthusiastic communication skills, capable of addressing a culturally diverse audience from lab technicians to directors
- Strong skills in presentation and demonstration, including creation of professional and easily understood marketing and training material
- Solution orientated, entrepreneurial, hands-on mentality, with a good sense of costs and customer values
- Team orientation and assertiveness
- Willingness to travel globally up to 25%
