Organic Molecules Effusion Cells

PVD MBE

  • Thermal Conduction Cooling technique (TCC)
  • Ideal for evaporation of organic materials and OLED applications
  • Temperature range from 15 °C up to 350 °C
  • Optional below room temperature

The Organic Molecules Effusion (OME) Cells shows excellent low temperature properties. Due to the thermal conduction cooling concept the OME cell is ideally suited for the evaporation of temperature sensitive materials like organic molecules (OLEDs) or polymers.

  • Reliable, compact and robust cell design
  • Cleanest operation in UHV systems
  • Patented design
  • Temperature range from 15 °C up to 350 °C
  • Optional below room temperature (the lowest temperature only depends on a suitable cooling media)
  • Heat transfer between a heated reservoir and a cooled heat sink is used to obtain a high cooling rate even at very low operating temperatures
  • Rapid cooling down
  • Low thermal time constant
  • Stable temperature control with extreme temperature stability (± 0.02 °C)
  • Standard crucible sizes: 2 cc, 10 cc, 16 cc, 35 cc
  • Standard crucible material: Quartz
  • Other crucible materials: on request
