The new Atomyx SPM Controller is designed to integrate all functionality currently required for basic and advanced UHV Scanning Probe Microscopy in a single unit.
With its modular design and its industry-rated PC it is open for upgrades and simultaneously delivers long lifetime and best maintainability. The optical communication interface prevents noise introduction and ground loops.
The integrated fourfold Lock-in module not only supports standard operation modes like dI/dV and IETS but also allows for highest flexibility for custom experiments with its unmatched frequency range of up to 5 MHz. The integrated PLL and amplitude controller support all Non-Contact AFM modes including e.g. bimodal excitation schemes.
