Product Manager - Industry
** WHAT DO THE ROLE AND THE BUSINESS LOOK LIKE?
Our core customers are in the academic market, such as universities and research institutes. For some of our applications we see an increased interest and potential with industrial customers, and with that comes new and exciting challenges. We are therefore looking for a Product Manager to take selected parts of our product portfolio to the industrial market. This will mainly be in the semiconductor area but can also become a wider scope over time. The first application to address is going to be HAXPES (Hard X-ray Photoelectron spectroscopy) into the semiconductor industry, enabling interfaces to be studied in a non-destructive way.
In this role you will be responsible for establishing our HAXPES solution in the industrial market. This includes market analysis, target customer identification, customer demands, and go to market planning, as well as sales support. You will work closely together with the rest of our product management team as well as R&D and sales teams to achieve the best result.
This role could be a hybrid role, but we prefer you to be in Uppsala, Sweden; or Taunusstein, Germany, and there will be quite some travel.

** WHO ARE YOU?
To be successful in this role we believe that you have a formal degree in engineering or similar with a background in product management. Experience working with the semiconductor industry is desirable. Since we are entering a new business segment, we also believe that you have experience in sales of high-tech capital equipment and B2B/KAM sales. The ideal candidate has experience from qualifying process equipment for the semiconductor or similar markets as well as solution-based selling and has the knowledge and gravitas to introduce best-practice KAM processes across the business to support the goals.
To succeed we believe that the right person for this role is someone who enjoys working with and understands the requirements of industrial companies and how these differ from the academic market. Experience doing business in Japan is a plus since many of our potential customers are located there. You are fluent in business English and comfortable working in a truly international environment. Previous knowledge about electron spectroscopy is an advantage, but not required.
